Front Page: Intro

GINI is: a transformative local/global project researching and developing the understanding, skills and strategies to be able to re-empower both individuals and community/society from the inside out, to reconnect to a sense of universal 'WE' and build a foundation that supports collaborative intelligence.

In a world seemingly addicted to and still apparently hopeful that polarised politics or any kind of combative approach is somehow going to produce solutions to everyone's problems, this project takes a significantly different approach.  The polarised approach is consistent with what it addresses; short term solutions for a minority that finance a system that favours them. For everyone else, in varying degrees of access to available resources, there is the experience of ever being at the effect of and dealing with the ever changing complexities and consequences of those who make the decisions with them at the end of the chain of power.

That this decaying and increasingly fragile system is becoming unfit for any kind of long term purpose is becoming clearer, though those that benefit the most from it may be the last to realise it.  We, and many others, have new ideas, proposals based around the following.

  • Collaborative Intelligence
  • Having at the centre of any grouping, action, a developing understanding of how stress, trauma and fear disable our ability to communicate, collaborate and create intelligent, creative, resilient and very well informed humans.  Prioritising, understanding and learning how to recognise the virus of separation and learn to respond and maintain connection and co-operation through internal and external connective skills.
  • Developing awareness of essential balance.  Separation/Connection, Individual/Group, Rest/Work, Control/Release, Male/Female.
    - and how the favouring of/imbalance of one over the other creates consequences and loss of resource until balance is restored.
  • Solutions have to be as much about individual (empowerment - and all of what that means) as they are about group (empowerment) as a group (and its strength, connectedness and resilience) is made up of individuals.
  • Individual empowerment has to be able to identify and heal fear and separation (me v you, us v them) and rediscover a sense of shared WE.                                                                       (otherwise we just take the internalised me/you/us/them into any future versions of who WE is and isn’t just - which is what we have now - those that think they are right and impose that on everyone else)
  • Focusing on local/national/global collaboration.
  • Implement only what can be demonstrated to be effective and aligned with individual, group and planetary needs.
  • Welcoming every individual to the planet, prioritising needs*, understanding the power and benefit and universal resourcing/investment in all of our welfare this will bring and that forgetting that nature provides resources for those that are born here (by pretending/claiming that some are more 'deserving' is a misunderstanding of nature/natural design, economically disastrous and essentially a confidence trick).
